One of the greatest joys of reading is that this rewarding experience of befriending characters, places, epochal events, historical transgressions, confounding socio-cultural norms, pluralistic political and religious beliefs, immersive ideologues and perspectives all afford insights into living and life for life... This assimilation, understandings that we glean from works in literature that shapes my world view, outlook and way of life is what I wish to recapitulate in these pages. It is not merely a critical appreciation of fiction and non fiction, but also my tribute and doffing of the proverbial hat to these authors who, by virtue of their work, have brought alive a piece of history for me and for you, the readers of my blog.
As an ardent bibliophile since my childhood, these pages of critical appreciation comprise the works that have deeply impacted me over the years constituting fiction, drama, poetry and non fiction.
