Caught up in desire and defiance

Missed out another, defeat, out of sheer ignorance 

From pursuit of dream to chasing an illusion (Maya)

Despite the multiple dejections this wilful heart persisted in the delusion 

My Sole Priority now punishes me for disrespecting her priorities

Discounting my insecurities she persists in her loyalties

An inherent voice, an innate person with me is shut now forever 

And a panglossian venture is my new endeavour!

Should I cease it all, life's dismay

Or must I proceed come what may?

My heartache and griefs no longer torment 

They are numbed too by the silence ever present
