Review: Quesso Restaurant, Oshiwara, Andheri West, Mumbai

**** RATED

Nestled in the heart of Oshiwara, in close proximity to the police station, no implications there, just referring to it as a landmark! :) Quesso, with its varied Continental, Thai and Mexican cuisine has been one my most frequented and most favoured place since 5 years now.

Not only is the food delectable, it is a visual treat and clearly displays the expertise of the Chef each time. From their Pizzas to the Greek Mousakkas to the Mexican Quesadillas and the Asparagus soup... each item is cooked with much care and finesse. The person delivering ensures this care too for the food delivered is invariably fresh and hot and always on time. Absolute credit to them considering the notorious Mumbai traffic!

This time, I would particularly thank them for yet another delicious meal delivered well in time. We had ordered their Zucchini Roulade, De Tostadaes and the Burrito Bowls, all of which exceeded our expectations in taste and presentation. The Zucchinis were perfectly grilled and placed with much precision on the ever popular Monaco biscuits with generous toppings of cheese and veggie fillings. It was an ideal start to the Mexican delight we hungrily devoured into following this. The flavourful and unique orange flavoured rice with corn, black olives and lettuce salad along with avocado guacamole is a delight to say the least. It satiates your hunger and lightly so... does not leave a heavy feeling full experience. The Burrito Bowls were neatly packed in small individual containers and it took us a while to figure out the order in which we had to place the accompaniments. But each item, from the black beans to the sour cream and the stuffed cherry tomatoes it was a perfection at work. Very impressed with the good, my favourite still is the Zucchini with the pineapple dunked in spicy salad!

Thank you Quesso and keep up this quality. That is precisely what keeps this restaurant, with an average ambience but great drinks ticking. So, a little more care in packing and labelling the items and some work on the ambience might just place you head and shoulders above the rest.

Entirely worth the price paid…
