If only promises and orders were kept, life and eating experiences would have been much happier! Eat Fit possibly believes in maintaining the fitness of its customers through intermittent fasting or by choosing to deliver part of what has been ordered., for clearly people tend to order way more than they actually want!

Located near Mindspace, Malad, this eatery garnered our interest as my friend was on a major detox diet and we decided to opt for healthy food, at least for her.  Moreover, the menu with interesting twists to regularly found dishes kindled our interest and we chose some of our favourites. We chose Masala Bhel with Baked Sev, keen to taste a non fried sev in an otherwise nasal filled Mumbai favourite: bhel. Alongwith this, the Whole fit Quinoa Crisps seemed quite radical and offbeat. Not a particular fan of quinoa in any form, I was considerate towards my friend’s liking and also eager to see crips made from quinoa… Ditto with the other choice, Tofu Keema Parantha Wrap, wherein our regular parantha is presented as a wrap, but is infused with the goodness of tofu keema. I have no information if the parantha is made traditionally, using butter or ghee but we will set aside that skepticism. The thing I most looked forward to was the drink, Whole fit Sugarcane with Ginger and Mint. Again, it is a Mocktail of ginger and mint with sugarcane juice being the staple, but the suffix whole fit is rather confusing and redundant, I think. If you think so too great. Else, eat.fit redeems itself in the naming department at least. Since they majorly lose out on packing and delivery.

But for the goodness of the delivery guy, and the support at Zomato, we would have lost out on the money as well besides being famished. Why you ask? Well, the eat.fit people sent only ONE of the four items ordered. The half-cooked parantha wrap, that was sufficiently infused with tofu, but was devoid of any flavour and salt. The two pieces of this wrap is what they thought should serve us both for lunch and that is healthy too. The other three items were not delivered and the establishment, far from being sorry, did not even acknowledge the error to date. So, our experience with eat.fit has been that it is rather unfit for discerning, independent minded customers and would befit those who do not mind having their order curtailed and accorded a perfunctory service. Clearly, there are better ways to eat and to be fit!
