Review: Diggin Cafe, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi

*** RATED

The location, enclosed in the Santhushti Complex, and the ambience with the decor being largely done in white is calming and inviting. The use of fresh flowers, curios such as a miniature telephone booth or an operator's telephone console all add to the charm with seating interspersed between outdoor and indoor. The serene environs, animated conversations that people have here, the friendly staff with a generous mix of both genders is another flavour of freshness besides the flowers.

However, the most important thing for a restaurant is also the food. Therein lies the disappointment. The Italian food is barely passable and could hardly be termed fresh. Even the garden burger was average.

Good ambience, nice experience, bit guess one must just stick to a lemonade and veer away from eating here.
