The menu is quite varied and some of the dishes appear to be innovative, has a nice twist to it like a Jeffrey Archer's short story. The first time I ordered for veg Baked Sandwiches and Crepes, seemed a good idea. Though the ratatouille sandwiches were a tad on the spicy side, the crepes were delectable and very French! Encouraged by it I ordered the Crepes again today along with the Tomato Lemongrass soup.
Placed the order at 11.30 and requested for it to be sent across by 1. Things were on a downward spiral from thereon. Not only was the food delivered after many calls reminding them that it does not take 2 hours to send it across, the staff over the phone and the delivery person were least apologetic. The food was cold, soggy and here is the twist: really spicy, with chilli flakes generously sprinkled over and the taste distinctly Chinese! Was truly not prepared for this kind of innovation in quality and service. There was a slight hint of the soup, and it seemed more like a consolation for a disgruntled, hungry soul...
Needless to say, the meal had a sad ending where I just had to dispose off the cheese laden, stir fried vegetables and omelette like crepes with a distinct Chinese flavour. Would never be inspired to pick up their menu ever again. Tnis short story was indeed a horror to my palette!!
